I agree. The pulling of a guard even the center really sells it. I believe that many believe that when you pull a guard on a PAP that it has to be a boot protection, but I like to pull and kick the EMOLS as well. Gives the dfense even more to plan for and puts doubt in the mind of the End as to whether or not hes being kicked or logged.

I agree, you don't see many blocked...but it seems they get close a lot more than traditional punts.

I’m a fan of traditional style. However the rugby punt does give advantages in coverage. there’s just very little hang time and the blocking is scary at times.
